Membership
The American Association of
University Women (AAUW) is a dynamic organization with more than a
century-long record of affecting change on issues of importance to
women, such as education, civil rights, equity in the workplace,
reproductive choice, and sex discrimination.
Membership is open to women
and men who hold associate's or equivalent, bachelor's degrees or
higher from regionally accredited universities and colleges, or from
recognized foreign institutions.
Branch Members--Membership
offers friendship with like-minded people and an arena for making a
positive contribution in the community.
Dual Members--are
those who have paid Association, state and branch dues to another
branch (the primary branch) and also pay dues to the Glendale
Branch.
Members at Large--Some
members belong to national AAUW only, with no branch affiliation.
This is a membership category for those who want to support AAUW's
goals but don't want to be active members or take advantage of the
benefits of branch membership.
